How Notre Dame High School and The City of Ottawa Help New ESL Students and New Immigrant Families

In Notre Dame High School, they help new ESL students learn the new language and culture step-by-step to make it easy for them to understand. Also they go on field trips to learn and see more about Canadians. They also make them try out some things that the ESL students wouldn't have in their country. Notre Dame is a place where every ones equal and helps everyone.

In the City of Ottawa, most parts are multicultural. There are parts of the city where you can find a place like home. Some examples would be like Little Italy, China town, and the Latin Market. In those kinds of places, many people make new friends with the same religion and culture. Those places also help new immigrant families to taste the same food as back home, to be able to make new friends and to speak to others with the same language. In Ottawa, there are festivals from all over the world. If the new immigrant families want to go somewhere or want to do something, there's always someone to help anywhere.

In conclusion, Notre Dame High School and the City of Ottawa make ESL students ans new immigrant families fell like home. Also to make the best so they can have a good future and a good new beginning.
